Responsibilities:
-Deploying, automating, maintaining and managing production systems, to ensure the availability, performance and scalability of those systems.
-Create, develop & manage the deployment architecture for our applications.
-Deliver an always-on (high availability) site architecture and operational excellence for connected services.
-Monitoring of system performance and implementation of monitoring tools, alerts for application components.
-System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains. Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and risk management processes.
-Suggest architecture improvements, recommending process improvements.
-Evaluate new technology options and vendor products.

Desired Knowledge and Skills:
-Strong systems administration with Linux and Windows.
-Experience in software development and/or scripting languages.
-BS or BA in computer science or related field.
-Familiar with RDBMS such as MSSQL and MySQL.
-Familiarity with Agile software development.
-Monitoring tools setup and configuration (New Relic, Zabbix, Nagios)
-Ability to evaluate system and application logs, error messages, stack traces to quickly identify and solve production problems
-Linux Firewall Managememt
-Load balancing knowledge
-Php, .Net skills helpful
-PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server knowledge helpful
-Vicidial/Asterisk experience is a plus.
