Ventosa Massage Cupping Therapy is performed by placing glass on specific accupoints on your back. The therapist performing ventosa then move the cup toward the outside part of the body sucking the air away.
Junpei Beauty Spa only uses authentic ventosa glasses that are made of strong glass to ensure the guests’ safety. In order to create a vacuum effect, a flame from a burning cotton ball is placed in an inverted cup. After the oxygen in the cup burns out, the cup is placed directly on the skin where it is held in a place by a strong suction. This draws the skin inside the cup. Ventosa cupping is generally a painless procedure. Proper placement of the glasses on the tensed points should be implemented. This is usually done on the shoulder blades where you have frozen shoulders and at the back area where the guest usually feel back pain. This is also placed on the lower back area to relieve lower back pains.
Traditional Chinese Medicine conveys that the flow of “Qi” travel through the body channels called meridians.
