Share a Book Campaign

Greetings of Peace and Love!


This is St. Michael the Archangel School of Rizal at Taytay, Rizal. We are asking for your help to donate books for our library to help our students in order to make them happy and interested to read. St. Michael the Archangel School’s “Share a Book Campaign” will run from today until the end of March. Books that will be collected will be forwarded to certain public schools in nearby communities. Elementary related books shall be given to Apia Integrated Public School in Sitio Apia, Antipolo City (a remote/ secluded public school where the 3rd and 4th year students had their NSTP outreach last December, 2012) and High School related books shall be given to Abuyod National High School in Teresa, Antipolo City.

We know and see the heartbreaking realities of public school students’ situations in various government-handled schools in our country especially the ones situated in the remote provincial areas. Scarcity in basic school necessities such as books are rampant in our public schools nowadays. May we extend our help in our own little ways by donating our old school textbooks, reference books, novels, children’s books, etc. With your help, we can now somehow alleviate the substandard situation in our public schools.

May we all seek to assist others in need and to observe social responsiveness by always playing a role to be part of the good cause.

Should you wish to donate, please just put it inside the huge steel container near the SMTA main gate (beside the guard).
