Both the Amazon and Pionus are also found foraging together in the wild, and share the same diet. They also have a very similar character but the main difference is that the Pionus doesn’t grow as big as an Amazon Parrot and also isn’t prone to making loud noises like some species, instead this species is known to talk very well as we have had them as family pets in the past.
