Responsibilities:

-Manage the scrum process for multiple distinct teams following Agile methodology.
-Oversee Agile ceremonies: daily stand-up (scrum) meetings, retrospectives, demos, backlog grooming/refinement, backlog sizing, sprint planning, release planning.
-Support and educate the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog and readying it for each sprint.
-Assist with internal and external communication, and improve transparency by creating visible information radiators (burn-downs, velocity chart, etc.), dashboards and demos.
-Provide coaching on Agile values and practices while emphasizing continuous improvement.
-Remove obstacles from the teams’ progress.
-Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s Degree in either technical or business-related field
-Scrum Master certification.
-5+ years of experience in business/systems analysis working hand-in-hand with a development team.
-2+ years of experience as Scrum Master
-Experience coaching and training teams in Agile methodologies
-Excellent communication and mentoring skills
-Strength in leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, and increasing transparency
-Ability to manage competing demands; excellent organizational skills
-Strong general business acumen.
